Let's try Cooking .
Prepare the following:
1 can fiesta Del Monte fruit cocktail, drained. reserved syrup.
2 tbsp. cornstarch, dissolved in 1/3 cup fruit cocktail syrup
1/2 cup evaporated milk
2 pc beaten eggs
1/2 ground cinnamon
1 tsp sugar
1/4 cup margarine, melted
12 pc sliced bread
1009 quickmelt cheese, thinly sliced into 10 pieces
This is how:
>>Simmer del Monte Fiesta Fruit Cocktail and dissolved cornstarch over low fire until thick and set aside.
>>In separate container mix together the prepared eggs, cinnamon, milk, sugar and remaining fruit cocktail syrup.
>>Heat pan over low fire. eat a non-stick pan over low fire. Dip (do not soak) each slice of bread in milk mixture. Toast in heated pan (two at a time)with 1tsp margarine until brown and turn to toast the other side.
>>While toasting the other side, put 2 tbsp fruit mixture on top of one bread, top with 2 slices of cheese and cover with other slice of toasted bread, then heat until cheese melts.
I have just tried this yesterday and my kids like it. Something new to them so i will cook again and again.
