Always read the label when buying food in can or in bottle. A bigger can or bottle might be cheaper but the content is lesser weight and less concentration. Like fruit juices , smaller can usually contains concentrated juice which is richer in nutrients while bigger can contains only non-concentrate juice and contains more plain liquid.
There are fruits and vegetables are nice to preserved or pickled when they are in season. Huge supply of fruits and vegetable that are in season and you can buy the fresh one in lower price like tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers, onions, strawberries, guavas, etc.
Always make a list before going to supermarket and buy the supplies good for one week or more. Going to market everyday is time consuming, so check supplies that are out of stock to avoid frequent trips to grocery. Buying supplies from neighborhood store is more expensive than in supermarket.
